East Sweden is situated on the Nordic triangle, Northern Europe’s most important transportation corridor. With easy access to all modes of transportation – one of the Baltic Sea’s largest and most modern ports, the European route E4, the main railway line,  and two airports – this is a place that allows you to venture out into the world and, perhaps more importantly, easily return to.

Travel by air:

Getting to and around Linköping/ Norrköping and the East Sweden region. The cities are and the surrounding region enjoy a convenient location in Sweden and are easy to get to. There are five international airports within 5 minutes to 2,5h drive of the the cities.

Linköping City Airport (LPI)

Fly direct to Linköping City Airport, situated just 5 minutes from the city centre.  Due to the coronavirus the daily KLM flights to Amsterdam (Schiphol) have been limited to one return flight.

Skavsta Airport (NYO)

Fly with Ryanair or Wizz Air to Stockholm Skavsta Airport outside Nyköping – 45 minutes from Norrköping and one hour from Linköping. There is a direct coach service from Skavsta to Linköping and Norrköping with the Flygbussarna airport coaches.

Bromma Airport (BMA)

In Stockholm, about two hours from Linköping and Norrköping by train or car. Due to the coronavirus, international flights are currently limited to serve Brussels only.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN)

Sweden’s major international airport Arlanda is located North of Stockholm, where you can find several major airlines. Travel from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Norrköping or Linköping  is approximately 2 hours by train or car.

Travel by rail to Norrköping/ Linköping

The Central station of Linköping and of Norrköping is in both cities a 10-minute walk from the city centres, hotels and congress buildings.
